This year, the charter business again experienced very strong growth, due to ever increasing demand for ever larger yachts and longer charter periods. This situation arises from a new client base, and also from the scarcity of very large yachts for charter.
In a very dynamic, yet still competitive market, UYM has taken numerous initiatives with a view to enhancing the company's leadership:
- strengthening of partnerships with various companies of the luxury goods segment and providers of services to wealthy clients;
- joint participation to major events in related industries;
- enhancement of charter fleet exposure, whether in wealthy client-oriented yachting or lifestyle media or during events;
- increasing press or public relations operations featuring the fleet's yachts.
